Where in Finland are you from?
We are from Tampere, Finland
How would you describe your band for those who don’t know you?
We are four 16 year old guys. We play metal music mixed with catchy melodies.
When did you form as a group?
Path Of Darkness as this line-up and this name was formed in the beginning of 2011. It was the time that the serious business started. All the members have had different projects before that.
What was the inspiration for your recent album?
We get the song ideas from our heads and try to make them as good as possible.
What other releases do you have?
Our first demo “Last Chance”
What is your favorite song on your most recent album?
‘Obligation’ 
Do you have any gigs coming up?
Yes, only two right now. We are trying to get more. The first one is at Varjobaari, Tampere this week on Friday (21.10.2011) and the second one is at Pub Katse, Jyväskylä on the 3rd of December. That is our first gig outside of Tampere, Finland so we are pretty excited about that
What’s your favorite type of venue to play?
We have had 4 shows for now and they have all been club shows so it’s pretty hard to say how it would be like to play open air. But of those 4 clubs, I would say that this place called Klubi was the best. The stage was big and high so there was room to move around.
If you could play anywhere in the world this week, where would it be?
Well, there is no Wacken or Sonisphere this week so maybe it would be some big concert place with full of people for example Pakkahuone at Tampere.

We have Facebook, Youtube and MySpace. All the news can be found on facebook so become a fan.
What are your influences as a band?
We listen to music a lot and just make our own music and hope that people will like it. Some musical influences are Children Of Bodom, Lamb Of God, Slayer and Nyrckes.
People who enjoy your music tend to like what other bands?
I think that people who enjoy metal music will like us too. But as I just mentioned, if you like bands like Children Of Bodom, Lamb Of God or Slayer then you will probably like us too.
Are you signed to a label?
No. Hope we are soon.
Where do you think you’ll be as a band in 5 years?
At first I hope that we have lots of fans and we are making music for living. Maybe that’s the most important thing. The biggest dream is to play at big festivals like Download, Wacken, Sonisphere and Tuska.
Is there anything else people should know about Path Of Darkness?
I think that all you should know is above. We are trying to succeed and make good music!
