Where in Finland are you from?

- The city of Compton, Helsinki

How would you describe your band for those who don’t know you?

- Big Sounds, melodic rock ‘n’ roll, traditional metal, 80′s pop and maybe some progressive crap thrown in there too. Morbid, brutal humor, in your face, can do-attitude and filled with cocoa and hazelnut cream.

When did you form as a group?

- Around Easter 2007, kinda. We’ve had 7 different drummers. Funnier than Spinal Tap.

What was the inspiration for your recent album?

- No other inspiration but the desire to write music that we ourselves would buy. All the songs are little, twisted images of our lives, but for us, writing music is not a soul-tearing creation process. The songs come if they come and we have fun writing them.

What other releases do you have?

- 3 singles and an EP. Only the ep is any good.

What is your favorite song on your most recent album?

- We all have our own favorites. Onna’s favorite is ‘Obvious’, Largo prefers ‘Uppers/Downers/Screamers’, Makkonen likes ‘RJ’ and Niko can’t decide between ‘Obvious’ and ‘RJ’. And we all love ‘Last Good Day’. Iiro is in Greece right now so we’re not gonna ask him. He’s just a drummer after all.

Do you have any gigs coming up?

- Yes we have. In few weeks, we’ll be in Hyvinkää and we were just confirmed to play at Pimp My Winter Fest next February. More dates coming up soon.

What’s your favorite type of venue to play?

- As long as everything works and the audience goes crazy, it’s all good.

If you could play anywhere in the world this week, where would it be?

- CBGB’s

What are your influences as a band?

- We like so much different stuff that it’s really hard to pick just a few, but let’s try. King Crimson, Charles Mingus, Ozzy Osbourne, Britney Spears and Alice Cooper!

People who enjoy your music tend to like what other bands?

- According to the fan overlap data @ Jango, our fans also like Disturbed, Ozzy Osbourne, Within Temptation and Alice In Chains to mention a few.

Are you signed to a label?

- Kinda. We have our own label, ‘Lazy, Loud & Stupid – Productions’. We are probably the only band in the world that wants to break into mainstream and find huge success, but does NOT want a record deal. We are DIY ’till we die. We also work a lot to help other unknown bands to make it on their own.

Where do you think you’ll be as a band in 5 years?

- On the top, baby. Laughing all the way to the bank…. No, seriously in 5 years we’ll be playing our songs all around the world, hopefully we’ve released a few more albums and as a band we hope that our ‘Lazy, Loud & Stupid – Productions’ has helped many bands and musicians to achieve their goals
