Where in Finland are you from?

From Haukipudas City, which is about 20 kilometers north of Oulu.

How would you describe your band for those who don’t know you?

This is a very heavy rock’n'roll group. We want to be louder than everything else and the most dangerous band in the planet. We live through this music what we create, and it describes our life, now-a-days world and other things that mean something to us.

When did you form as a group?

Eetu and Tomi formed band somewhere between 2005-2006. They had a drummer and both of them played guitars then.. cos they never found a bass player. So later Eetu decided to start playing bass and an old drummer got fired..he wasn’t our type and we didn’t like him much. We also stole his drums, hehe. So after that happening, Arttu came in the band and beginning of this year we found Erkki!.

What was the inspiration for your recent album?

We’ve made some song that includes great hooks also very catchy riffs and melodies, based on the classical 70′s and 80′s hard/heavy rock-style and we also trying to bring something new for the people. We wanted this *Demo* to be the door opener to the bigger circles and also for the record deal. In first place we took our four most thrilling songs with hard Minor style riffs and record them.

What other releases do you have?

Well we have some videos from live gigs and stuff in YouTube on our channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/ToDo496#p/ua) and we have recorded Lonely Streets and a song called Celebration Time when we had our previous guitarist on board but those songs sound really bad and we decided not to release them anywhere.

What is your favorite song on your most recent album?

(Neuvonen)

Well, there are four opinions on this Question, but I think, and on my mind the ‘Lonely Street’ or ‘Carnival Of Sins’ are my favorite songs. Those songs are Minor based so they sound so majestic and sad, and I like those kinds of things in songs, it makes them more powerful. I also have a great opportunity in ‘Lonely Street’ for long improvised solo.

(Kurtti)

Save a Day, kick ass song!

(Ukkola)

I like ‘Save A Day’ most! It’s a great story and it is little different than our other songs, it’s a raw rock n roll!

(Tiiro)

‘Carnival Of Sins’. It has much more variety between it’s riffs and tempo which I like as a drummer. It is one of our most challenging songs which keeps both audience and band awake.

Do you have any gigs coming up?

Not right now, but at next month there’s going to be. Well.. if you know great places where they took bands to play, we’re ready to go, hehheh…

What’s your favorite type of venue to play?

Well, I think it’s that kind of a place, where is a good, big stage so you could move there and your backline with drums fits in there perfectly. There are lights and smoke machine, and no barriers between audience and us, so if they want to stage dive, it’s possible.

If you could play anywhere in the world this week, where would it be?

(Neuvonen)

Again four opinions on this one lad… Los Angeles, San Francisco, Texas everywhere in America, ‘cos there are bigger audience to play, and you get more fame there.

(Kurtti)

German, Japan, China and USA to be attractive places, but all the countries in the world would be awesome to go through.

(Ukkola)

I would like to play England, Germany, Japan and of course all around America, ‘cos there are so many peoples and it’s a really fucked up place, heheh. Los Angeles it’s a place where I would like to play as many gigs as possible and so hard than all the Americans have ever seen before!

(Tiiro)

Japan would be the most interesting place to play since the people there are totally insane. Of course The USA would also be a very cool place to play and have a tour.

Do you have a Website, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter etc?

you can send your emails to todotheband -ät- hotmail -dot- com.

What are your influences as a band?

All kind of rock n’ roll and heavy. I believe that bands like Metallica, Mötley Crüe and Megadeth have influenced us the most. In lyrics, the greatest influences come from our own daily lives and exceptional situations.

People who enjoy your music tend to like what other bands?

It is very hard to say because we have a lot of fans who like to listen to very heavy stuff, some light rock or even reggae and jazz. No matter what they listen to, we truly believe they also like our music :D

Are you signed to a label?

No, not yet. We are searching for the record deal at the time. And we want it so bad.

Where do you think you’ll be as a band in 5 years?

Yeah, We can’t even tell you where we are next month, ‘cos we don’t know.. But think that we’re somewhere touring in America or Japan or in Europe, playing live almost every night, doing promotion, making records, selling them also, ‘Cause that’s what we always wanted. Doing something that we really love, playing together in this great band, composing songs and then record them to an album and then hope that people are goin’ to buy it, hehheh…
