Past…
In 2005 Opaque Buff started its way through sleaze, some glam, some punk and hard rock. by 2006, Opaque Buff had released their their demo-EP ‘Party Tight In The Night With Opaque Buff’ and has performed at stages like Nosturi, Gloria and Semifinal in Helsinki. After a slight pause due to some objections caused by the military machine of Finland, the band re-appeared in 2008, with ‘Hungry For Love’. 2008-2009 flew past with more songwriting and doing gigs at mostly very odd stages such as “Lappohja Rock” along with some private parties.
Present…
Since 2009, Opaque Buff is rocking harder than ever with singer, songwriter and sleaze icon Dallas. Since 2011 drummer Wille G has been with the band. In February 2010, Opaque Buff released the EP Street Decadence’, that has received airplay on some national and local radio stations. With gigs in Helsinki and some other cities in Finland, Sweden and Germany, Opaque Buff has become a serious act, liked by many sleaze rockers and other fans of good music. With an underground fan base is growing in Helsinki, Opaque Buff also has listeners in the USA and has sold copies of ‘Street Decadence’ to Australia and Sweden. Opaque Buff is the sleaziest underground band in Helsinki, and probably the best kept secret hiding in this city.
Future…
Opaque Buff is continuing with touring, writing songs and making sleazy rock records. The band is aiming at publishing a live album and a studio single within 2011.
