Underdøgs
Since 2004 Helsinki-based indie band, Underdøgs, have steadily made their way while gaining their reputation by releasing songs, playing gigs and promoting on their own. The fabulous five have during the course of their career played a surprise gig at the Helldone-festival in Helsinki in 2005 followed by a short tour in Tokyo during 2006.
Familiar characteristics of their music are the epic, multi-layered songs with their longing melodies are combined with heavy use of the keyboards and delays to give it their ‘pinkfloydish’ aesthetics and 90’s British pop sound. Their eclectic and heartfelt music also speaks about the sentimental journey to stay true to the heart, the ups and downs transcending throughout space and time.
At the moment the band is concentrating on writing more material while also seeking for a publisher.
