Where in Finland are you from?

We all are spread around at this moment, but all were born in middle of Finland. Ilkka lives in Vantaa, Toni lives in Hyvinkää, Hannu lives in Vehniä and both our guitarists live in Jyväskylä.

How would you describe your band for those who don’t know you?

Aggressive, dirty, fast ‘n’ drunk death ‘n ‘thrash,infected with old-school death and thrash bands

When did you form as a group?

It was 2005 when Ilkka Sepponen and Tero Kangasmaa formed My Funeral. Past years there have been some changes in our group. Latest synopsis confirmed just 3 weeks before we start to record our debut album.

What was the inspiration for your recent album?

Satan, death, alcohol and fucked world

What other releases do you have?

Two demos “Funeral Terror” and “Grave Wide Open”. “Death-EP” was last product before our debut album.

What is your favorite song on your most recent album?

If we make a group vote it’s gonna be ‘Horn Crowned King’

Do you have any gigs coming up?

Three drinking events are now confirm: 13.11 Lappeenranta, 26.11 Jyväskylä and 4.12 Helsinki.

What’s your favorite type of venue to play?

Dirty, dark cave where girls have rounded around the pole.

If you could play anywhere in the world this week, where would it be?

Middle East

Mains are Slayer, Venom, Kreator and old Death

We have just signed to Violent Journey Records.

Where do you think you’ll be as a band in 5 years?

We are somewhere in the middle of Europe touring so fucking lost and wasted. But serially, we have just finished the third album. Hopefully…
