Where in Finland are you from?

Helsinki.

How would you describe your band for those who don’t know you?

We tried to categorize ourselves and ended up with something like AwesomeExtremePowerUpPunkPopRock. I guess we try to play catchy PunkPopRock type of music with a positive vibe.

When did you form as a group?

We had the idea of the band for a while before playing together. It was about a year ago when we first got together at the rehearsal place. After that everything has been progressing pretty smoothly.

What was the inspiration for your recent album?

We all have our own various musical backgrounds that won’t fall under a single genre. We have guys playing metal, grind-core and glam rock just to mention a few. Still we dig a lot easier stuff like Blink-182, Pendulum or Apulanta. So I guess in MadCraft it all comes together musically. We had some older song ideas where we took off and did some heavy MadCrafting process.

What other releases do you have?

As we’re just about to release our debut EP, we really don’t have anything else released in a CD format. We’ve been throwing gigs pretty actively and caught them on tape so we have a nice amount of live videos on our YouTube channel. (http://www.youtube.com/madcraftofficial)

What is your favorite song on your most recent album?

We like all of them! InoUno is a fun song since it has an awfully catchy chorus.

Do you have any gigs coming up?

Hopefully! We’re trying to do as many gigs as we can so if you want to book us, don’t hesitate and contact us at madcraft(at)madcraft.net!

What’s your favorite type of venue to play?

Big enough to have a decent stage but small enough to be fully packed with crazy party people!

If you could play anywhere in the world this week, where would it be?

With Blink-182 where ever they’re playing!

What are your influences as a band?

If we had to mention one band that would be Blink-182. Definitely.

People who enjoy your music tend to like what other bands?

They seem to like everything, which is quite cool. Green Day is one band a lot of our fans seem to like. I guess if you like good music you’ll like us – and vice versa

Are you signed to a label?

Nope. We’re all DIY at the moment.

Where do you think you’ll be as a band in 5 years?

Headlining the Blink-182 reunion tour with Metallica as our support act. Lol.
