Singer Nöpsy and bass player Maria live in Helsinki (the capital of Finland) and drummer Katja and guitarist Jenni live in a smaller town near Helsinki

How Would You Describe Your Band For Those Who Don’t Know You?

Four hot chicks, great sound, rock ‘n roll with sweet feminine touch we have named our music style humorously ‘the nisu-beat’ which straight translated means ‘the baked-roll-beat’. Don’t even ask! We like to hit the beat and we love cinnamon rolls.

When Did You Form As A Group?

It was year 2004.

What Was The Inspiration For Your Recent Album?

We haven’t done a full lengthy album yet, but our EP ‘Take Me Home’ was inspired by our friends and other musicians.

What Other Releases Do You Have?

We have made a couple of EPs before. But we think one can’t find them anywhere – we made just a few copies of those.

Do You Have Any Gigs Coming Up?

Yep, we have couple of festival gigs and some club gigs in summer here in Finland. We’re writing new stuff so we’re trying not to play too many gigs.

What’s Your Favorite Type Of Venue To Play?

Everything is great. Gigs are the best part of playing in a band. It’s great to see people dancing to our music!!!

If You Could Play Anywhere In The World This Week, Where Would It Be?

Anywhere abroad, L.A. would be great, Chicago, Tokyo – so many places!

Yeas and no. It’s very complicated at the moment. Let us say that we are WILLING and FREE to negotiate with other labels

Where Do You Think You’ll Be As A Band In 5 Years?

We will be a lot bigger thing than now. We’ll be touring around the world and we would have at least four top 10 singles.
