Where In Finland Are You From?
From Southwestern Finland, Town 54km from Turku and 112km from Helsinki, Called Salo (famous for Nokia)
How Would You Describe Your Band For Those Who Don’t Know You?
We play hardrock which combines classic elements with modern twist, with humble but serious attitude and we appreciate the importance of a good live show (accurate playing and good "feeling")
When Did You Form As A Group?
In 2006. Each of us has a background in music and guitarists Mikko Patrakka and Jukka Have been playing together infrequently for almost 10 years.
What Was The Inspiration For Your Recent Album?
Our latest EP is called "Northern Hospitality". It has inspiration from Finnish climate and geography, frustration in relationship and ‘big wheel’ of life. "Dragstone" has also flavours of "sisu" and not giving up. "In The Deep" is about accepting the personal past to get forward in life, and "Dragstone" shows a more sensitive side of Sinfactor, still combined with our trademark groovy riffs and not being too soft.
What Other Releases Do You Have?
We recorded first demo of Sinfactor in 2007 and more is to come ..
What Is Your Favorite Song On Your Most Recent Album?
Do You Have Any Gigs Coming Up?
We have something, but nothing on the paper yet. Of course we hope we would be as busy with gigs as possible.
What’s Your Favorite Type Of Venue To Play?
Medium average sized clubs, for 100 to 500 people when the house is a rockin! But probably bigger would be cool too..

Wembley Or Whiskey-A-Go-Go, Tavastia, Rock Am Ring etc.
What Are Your Influences As A Band?
Good 90′s metal, and also great stuff from 1970′s, Sabbath, (everybody always says Sabbath as influence), Creedence Clearwater Revival (!), Down,
Alice In Chains, etc. Maybe even Sentenced and Amorphis from Finnish bands..
People Who Enjoy Your Music Tend To Like What Other Bands?
Sentenced maybe? All good hardrock made with heart and sweat.
Are You Signed To A Label?
No, but hopefully we would be in year or two…
Where Do You Think You’ll Be As A Band In 5 Years?
We have made our first official album and toured at least much in Finland, played at least medium festivals here, and hopefully we have had the pleasure to play gigs abroad also.
