Where In Finland Are You From?

We live in Vaasa, which is on the west coast of Finland. About 440km northwest from Helsinki.

How Would You Describe Your Band For Those Who Don’t Know You?

We consider us as some sort of a melancholic rock/metal band with some dark gothic influences. But in a way we don’t really care about the genre itself, we just do what we feel is right and feels good.

When Did You Form As A Group?

We started wit the band in 2007, but we were complete and started in 2008.

What Was The Inspiration For Your Recent Album?

We don’t have an album yet, we just recorded three promo songs for now. In February, we went into Biotech Audio Solution studio and did everything with the producer Sami Hannu Koivisto. But if things will continue to go well as they are now, we will for sure continue working with him to record more songs. So our first debut album could be complete in the very near future.

What Other Releases Do You Have?

As I said, there are no other releases.

What Is Your Favorite Song On Your Most Recent Album?

Since we don’t have an album yet, it is hard to talk about any favorite songs just yet. I mean, we have many songs that we play live and that we are satisfied with, but I really cannot say which ones could be our favorite ones. Every song has its story behind it, so every song has its own meaning.

Do You Have Any Gigs Coming Up?

Right now we have a small gig coming up in a few days on one festival which happens every year on 1st of May here in Vaasa, FIN.

What’s Your Favorite Type Of Venue To Play?

Wherever we feel welcome and where people are not uptight. We prefer bigger stages, but we also feel good in smaller clubs. As I said, wherever the energy feels right.

If You Could Play Anywhere In The World This Week, Where Would It Be?

At the moment I don’t have any particular place or area in my head where I would like to be, but I guess I could say anywhere at some Open Air Festival. That would be perfect.

Do You Have A Website, Trig, MySpace, Facebook Etc.?

We only have MySpace page.

What Are Your Influences As A Band?

Influences? Hmmm, I would rather not mention some particular names, but I can say that we are influenced mostly by some gothic, melodic metal bands from the US and Scandinavian countries.

People Who Enjoy Your Music Tend To Like What Other Bands?

Probably I would say Sinamore, Tiamat, Type O Negative, maybe Danzig…etc.

Are You Signed To A Label?

No, not yet. But we are looking for one.

Where Do You Think You’ll Be As A Band In 5 Years?

Well, 5 years is really far away. We rather concentrate on present time and not think too much about the future. We will do our best to get as far as possible with out music, but of course, we will see what the time will bring.

Is There Anything Else People Should Know About Rest In Silence?

There is actually nothing special, just that we do what we like and that we are glad we can offer to the audience something new and fresh with our music.
