Where In Finland Are You From?

We all spent our childhood growning up in Lievestuore, that’s in the middle of Finland. Quite close to Jyväskylä. Prööm Prööm: Rally cars youll see!! Nowadays Juha, Riku and Pasi live in Jyväskylä. Samuli lives in Tampere. Pasi works in Porvoo. But our headguaters stay in Lievestuore, there’s a ranch where we raise our material.

How Would You Describe Your Band For Those Who Don’t Know You?

My Dawn contains four fellows. Mostly we like the same kind of music. In music there’s gotta be good melodies and catchy stuff.

When Did You Form As A Group?

At the begining of 2000 or was it 1999?

What Was The Inspiration For Your Recent Album?

Several kind of inspirations:

Music just came out from us. All those songs we polish together. For lyrics and covers, main theme was Control. Songs ‘Pointless Thoughts’ and ‘Errant’ leans on that theme. What may Control human life? Song ‘Victory’ is made for our guys ringball team theme. ‘Morgue Story’ is some kind of horror story. And ‘Then I Died’ is a story about feelings that you may have after you have died.

What Other Releases Do You Have?

And hopefully in the future a new EP. Couple of songs are quite ready for studio.

Songs for new release is quite ready. And hopefully soon we lock ourselves again in studio booth. New songs that we had made are quite, how can you say, filled with many layers and hooks.
