Enslaving The Audio
Kinetik Control
Reviewed by Kaheli
Kinetik Control’s debut album has it all…melancholic chords often found in Finnish rock/metal music to the deep, metallic groove sounds of an underground industrial techno dance club to the hard rippin’ guitar riffs often found in today’s metal music. Much like a roller coaster ride without leaving the comforts of your home. Ups, downs and all around loop de loops…
‘Lack Of Divine Inspiration’ possesses lyrics that instantly ingrain themselves into your memory such as ‘no one’s carrying the burden but me’ from the song ‘Walk Through Fire’ to the chorus line of an amazing remake of ‘What Is Love’, a top-hit dance tune from the early 90′s.
Kinetik Control has many talents and each of them are in evidence on this album. From the luscious deep baritones of Tweak’s lead vocals to the fast finger workings on the keyboards by Dexter.
Our favorite songs include ‘Who Does Not Want Freedom’, ‘The Mutt’ and ‘No One Knows About Us’. Of course, don’t forget to check out ‘What Is Love’…you’ll love it! Choosing our favorite songs was, by no means, an easy task. The album as a whole is worth listening to over and over.
