In The Shadows Of Trance Formers
Brightboy

That refreshing sound of intermingled pop, indie, a light trance/dance, clashing hits just as they do at the neighborhood club, is that of Helsinki’s Brightboy. Full of hot hooks, fast tempos and adamant attitudes, their first album ‘In the Shadows of Trance Formers’ will keep you on your toes and wanting to dance in your seat. A blend of Jimmy Eat World’s quick beats, The Raconteurs intoxicating lyrics and darkness of The Clash… Brightboy has been placed on a path of tough competition.
Mashed with emotions from everything including frustration to confusion to bliss, cleverly written lyrics, and melodic rhythms, this album will give you an endless supply of entertainment. From the slow beats of ‘Turn This Love Around’ to the hyperactive sounds and squeals of ‘Sirens’ you’ll never be bored with this well put together album. A downside of Brightboy’s first album is that it’ll be very hard to top… so far they haven’t had any let downs and music lovers of all kinds should not hesitate to add this album to their vast collection.
Some of the favorites from ‘In the Shadows of Trance Formers’ include the tracks ‘Empty Phrases’ and ‘Death of Romance’. Tell us what you think!
